Stunned

THIS is the check I deposited yesterday from our church. 

Yes...for real! 

We have been struggling with how to share this amazing news because we continue to be stunned by the outpouring of love and support by our new church family. I mean, just what do you say about that?!?!?! A church which we have only been attending for five months has shown us such love and encouragement and it continues. People stop us all of the time in town to ask us how things are going, when will she be here, and such. It's indescribable! A church who loves her before ever meeting her...now that's the love of Christ right there!

As you might remember, we had three minutes each of four Sunday services in Advent to share our journey with the congregation. The last week, it was the boys who were up. Adam and Noah were very nervous about the idea of speaking so they decided to make a video.  Here it is. (Sorry the sound at the end is a bit hard to hear...we had you use my iphone.)

Jake, of course, really WANTED to speak so he was able to speak at the two traditional services where showing video was not an option. He did an amazing job! And his brothers were the handsome photo holders...

It has been such a privilege to watch God move in the hearts of our friends, family and community. We CANNOT wait until Johanna can meet you all!!!!
